Legier LA

Influenced by California mid-century hard edge painting as well as the tactile, fluid forms of Post-Minimalism, we juxtapose clean, hard edges in our jewelry designs with the organic, abstract forms of stones inlaid in the rough.  LEGIER uses clean geometries to highlight the sublime forms of nature; it is reminiscent of 1960s-70s Land Art, where the rugged, timeless forms of the desert landscape are interrupted by the imposing, geometries of works such as Michael Heizer’s Double Negative (1970).  Each piece attempts to balance supposed opposites, the organic and inorganic, abstract and concrete, feminine and masculine.

Legier LA work with local, family run businesses to produce each collection and our gemstones are responsibly sourced.
